Why We Built This Site
Texas permits access to many court records, yet the correct custodian depends on jurisdiction. The District Clerk keeps the 222nd District Court record, the County Clerk keeps constitutional County Court matters, and the two lower courts maintain their own dockets. re:SearchTX and iDocket can help locate some electronic entries, but neither replaces the originating clerk. We bring the verified contacts, official links, request channels, and local distinctions together in one place.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Deaf Smith County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Texas court, clerk, or government agency. Those limits mean that we cannot:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
An official or certified docket copy must come from the clerk or the court that holds the case. This resource can identify that office but cannot issue the document.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes on some pages and control their own results, terms, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports the site. We do not operate those services or decide what they return.
